Micheletti Alternative Insurance Solutions has been providing insurance and professional service for both businesses and individuals since 1946. Founder, Mel Micheletti, became a principal for Clark Insurance in San Jose in 1963. Soon thereafter, Mel Micheletti acquired Clark Insurance changing the business name to Micheletti Insurance Agency.

Over the years, three of his sons; David, Robert, and John, joined the family business. The agency expanded and changed their name to Micheletti & Associates Insurance Services. With offices expanding to Sonora, CA in the foothills and Tracy, CA in the valley. Short after, they merged both Sonora and Tracy to Manteca, CA.

In 2011, Rob's son, Joey joined the firm. This was the start of the third generation in the family business. In 2014 Robert Micheletti acquired the business and maintained most of its original customer base. The operation was moved to Modesto, CA and changed the company name to Micheletti Alternative Insurance Solutions.
